Vitoria in northern Spain is less visited by British travellers than some of the Southern cities. It’s true the weather here is not as good as the South but with average temperatures in the mid twenties during summer it is still a fantastic place to consider visiting whilst you are in Spain. So if the sun doesn’t shine every day I would suggest hiring a car and seeing some of the fabulous historic centers which make the Alava region so special.
Vitoria is the capital of the Alava province and of the autonomous region of the Basque Country. In fact Vitoria has two names it is officially Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Name Nuevo Victoria was given to the city by King Sancho VI of Navarre, who founded the modern city of Vitoria in 1181. Before this Vitoria as it stands today didn’t really exist, the closest inhabited area was the hamlet of Gasteiz which stood on the hill around which Vitoria grew. Vitoria was little more than a walled defensive outpost which belonged to the kingdom of Navarre.
Vitoria grew to the city we know today mainly because of its strategic position between the table lands of Castile and Northern Europe. The huge number of passing travellers meant it became an important trade center. In the 13th century three weekly markets took place and two very important annual fairs were held.
One of Vitoria’s most interesting historical elements was that the city held its own individual principals that became laws. All inhabitants of Vitoria were declared equal, there was no distinction between nobility and the general public.
Vitoria has a small airport but you will find it difficult to get cheap flights into the city. Most travellers fly to Bilbao airport. Bilbao is only 66 kilometres away from Vitoria and is a relatively easy drive on good roads. If you arrive at Bilbao airport I would definitely suggest hiring a car. This kind of service is a lot cheaper than in the UK. In fact you can often save money during your stay by hiring a car because you will avoid transfer costs and transport costs during your stay.
A short distance away is the town of Mendoza where you can visit the medieval tower and the dungeons below. The medieval tower discovered in Donana is now known to have been a dungeon used for prisoners and perhaps lovers in the Palace. The latter possibility has been strengthened with the discovery of two bodies. A legend says that courtesans kept their lovers there until death.
If you have had enough of narrow cobbled winding streets and this city steeped in history an escape to Garaio will come as a welcome escape. Your hire car will be perfect for a day trip Garaio it is only 15 kilometres away, here you’ll find all of the activities which you can’t enjoy in the city. Cycling, mountain biking, hill walking, sailing and canoeing are all possible in the park. For any serious twitchers out there make sure you visit the Mendixur Bird Observatory.
These outdoor parks have facilities for swimming, out door bars, picnics and space to enjoy the beautiful countryside in this area of Spain.
Ensure you pre book your hire car as far in advance as possible before your trip. Remember to take into account the luggage you will be taking with you when you book the car. If you’re taking sports equipment make sure it will fit in with your luggage. A smaller car will undoubtedly be cheaper if you are not planning to use you car very much this will be best; but there’s nothing quite like travelling around Spain in the luxury of a convertible hire car.

How To Use The Business Line Of Credit Rates Interest To Your Maximum Benefit
The Business line of credit rates is something most banks dealing with business sector cater to. Under this scheme, a business house is offered some capital that is stored and can be used whenever the business house requires it. This is beneficial since in such cases the bank doesn’t require you to keep collateral for the loan it is to provide you. The amount of capital that the debtor can use is pre-arranged between the bank and the company or individual. Of course, in case you are unable to meet the condition set previously about the credit score then you will need to provide collateral to the bank.
The idea of business line of credit rates is extremely useful for a business, especially in those times when they need short term funds. If there is a drop in cash flow, a needed investment in equipment, or inventory is required at a given point of time or even if you need extra cash because you have incurred too many expenditures that you had not planned for, the business line of credit rates is the perfect solution for you.
It would help if you did your research to find out the best available interest charged and the stipulations before you actually entered into a business line of credit rate agreement. This is because the interest rates vary according to an organizations fiscal situation, time, and level of operation. You can get yourself a fairly good option at various different places such as the neighborhood financial corporation or the money lending organizations found on the Internet. Make sure you find a source that builds up goodwill and is willing to charge you a fair rate, especially if you are only beginning and need monetary support.
In the corporate sector, the rate of interest you will be charged is related to your company’s financial position and earlier past and present monetary situation. You creditor is likely to check your own finances as well as your companies before determining what business line of credit rate interest is best suited for you. If your past monetary account is not so good, be prepared to deal with a higher amount of interest. This is applicable also to beginners. If your history is fairly stable, though, you can afford to bargain about the rate.
The proposal actually presented is often complicated and extensive so you would do well to make a comparison of the various offers you receive to make sense of the terms and conditions offered to you by each. If it still doesn’t work for you feel free to call up the bank and discuss your requirements with them; sometimes you get additional choices in business line of credit rates this way and maybe even a better rate.
So you have set up a business? Then you must know already how important it is to have a continuous amount of money coming into your business in order to run it. Often though, this itself is not enough and you need additional support to continue. This can happen to big business houses running on hard times or even small firms who are mere beginners. Until your monetary situation improves the business line of credit rate interest is sure to keep your company afloat. This way you can postpone paying off people, pay for stock or endorsements, pay salaries, and make many other necessary payments.
Making a success out of business is a tough task and when your financial position isn’t great it becomes even tougher. But with a good-quality business line of credit rate of interest, things are sure to become better, especially having the security of being able to draw on a working capital of sorts when it is most needed.

Free Wedding Toast Samples
Wedding toasts are a great way to wish the new couple well, but it can be hard to get it just right if you’ve never done it before. If you feel a lot of emotion about the union, it may be even more difficult to get the toast just right. Keeping it simple really helps, as well as keeping it short. Remember that a toast is simply a way to let the new couple know that you are excited for them, and that you were happy that they made you a part of their day. The more you try to put into a toast the more complicated it can be, so don’t try to pack too much into the toast.
Samples
Below is a very simple toast that you can use regardless of how well you know both of the bride and the groom. This is also a great way to make a toast when you really want to wish the couple well but you aren’t too sure what to say!
“First, I wanted to say congratulations to Bill and Nancy! I am so happy for the both of you and I know that today is the first day of what will be a very long marriage. I also want to thank the two of you for inviting me and making me a part of your big day. I know that there will be many more celebrations of your love and your marriage in the future!”
Below is a more intimate toast that you will find works well for close friends and family and will help you convey a bit more personal emotion.
“Congratulations, you two! I know that everyone is saying great things to you, but I had to get up and really express how happy I am for you. I know that both of you have been looking forward to this day for quite awhile, and I have to say that it couldn’t have been more beautiful. I know that you have a lot of great plans for the future and I can’t wait to sit back and watch them unfold for you. Congratulations, Bill and Nancy!”
As you can see, you can keep it really simple or you can add a bit more personalization to a toast. Usually a toast is just a few minutes long, so you don’t need to get into long stories or convoluted hopes for the new couple. Instead, keep things short and sweet but be sure to convey your happiness for the new couple. If you don’t know the personalities of both the bride and the groom well, keep humor limited and clean, just so that you are sure you don’t offend anyone.

Admission Resumes: Tips For Getting Noticed
When competing against hundreds of other applicants for limited seats in degree programs, it’s essential that your resume quickly conveys what you can bring to the program in terms of academic abilities, special talents, or real-world experiences. Below are general guidelines as to what admissions directors seek in application resumes. Be advised that it’s always wise to first check with the targeted school for specific guidelines that will help in creating your new resume so that it gets noticed.
Should you use a Resume or a CV (Curriculum Vitae) for Admission to Schools?
Generally speaking, if you’re applying to college or a university for an undergraduate degree program, or to a law/business/medical school, a resume should be employed.
If you are applying for a medical fellowship and have numerous publications, presentations, and abstract submissions, the preferred format is the CV. CVs, unlike resumes, may be longer than two pages in length, and often exceed ten pages when the candidate has numerous publications.
Guidelines for resumes used in application to Colleges or Universities for Undergraduate Degrees:
1. Opening Summary: This should provide an admissions director with a “snapshot” of you as a candidate, and your most relevant accomplishment. The achievement may be academic in nature (a perfect SAT score, selection as Class Valedictorian), may involve a specific talent (awards for art work or in drama competitions), or be focused towards athletics (member of football team that won division championship). The idea is to show your skill and potential.
2. Education: In addition to listing your high school, include any relevant club memberships (National Honor Society, Gold Key Club, Art Club for an aspiring artist – Language Clubs for an aspiring Linguist/Interpreter), honors (dean’s list, etc.), and anything else that made your work in high school special.
3. Volunteer Work: List first that volunteer work that coincides with your future goals. For example, if your intent is to study sociology or psychology in college, then detail volunteer work done at homeless/battered women shelters.
4. Hobbies: List first those hobbies that coincide with your future goals. (i.e. working with fabrics and sewing if you’re interested in becoming a Fashion or Interior Designer).
5. Length: No more than one page
Guidelines for resumes used in application to Graduate Schools:
Many schools will have their own requirements. It’s best to follow those directives in constructing your resume.
However, some general components are:
1. Education: List only the Bachelor’s Degree, not any Associates Degrees leading up to it. Include coursework that is relevant to the graduate program (i.e. Banking coursework for Finance programs), and any academic honors such as scholarships, dean’s lists, honor societies.
2. Professional Experience: Your employment and relevant daily duties presented in a reverse chronological order – that is, your most recent employment first, followed by the next most recent, and so on. If the school requires it, include full dates of employment – that is, both months and years. If no such requirement exists, then only provide years of employment (i.e. 2001-2004).
3. Volunteer Work & Hobbies/Interests
Variables:
1. A Qualifications Summary: These are optional. Some schools may even require that they not be included. It’s best to check with the school to which you are applying to determine if inclusion of an opening summary is appropriate.
2. Career Accomplishments: Professional achievements can be showcased in their own section, or as a part of the employment listing. It’s best to check with the graduate school to see which is preferred.
3. Length: It’s best to check with the targeted school to see if any length restrictions exist.
Guidelines for resumes used in application to Law Schools:
The specific requirements for most law schools are:
1. List all academic and non-academic honors and awards received, including fellowships, prizes and memberships in honor societies; list and/or describe the basis for your selection.
2. List your extracurricular activities since entering undergraduate school, the hours per week devoted to such activities, and the dates of the activities.
3. List your positions of employment since high school (either full or part time), the number of hours per week devoted to each position, and the dates of employment.
Variables:
1. Length: Generally speaking, most law school resumes are no more than one page in length. However, some law schools have their own length restrictions and/or requirements. It’s best to check with the school to which you are applying to determine what is most appropriate.
2. Opening Summary (also known as Qualifications Summary): These are optional. Some schools may even require that they not be included. It’s best to check with the school to which you are applying to determine if inclusion of an opening summary is appropriate.
Guidelines for resumes used in application to Business Schools:
Unlike other graduate school programs, Business Schools are seeking candidates that have real world experience. Therefore, in applying to this type of graduate program, the resume should resemble, as closely as possible, one being sent to a hiring manager.
The components of a Business School resume include:
1. A Qualifications Summary: This brief paragraph should provide relevant and recent data that enhances your candidacy. This would include an overview of your professional experience (i.e. “Internet Entrepreneur with a successful background in founding and operating two websites specializing in. . .”), a recent/relevant accomplishment (i.e. “Increased sales at Bank One by 40% within six months of hire by implementing a unique bank card program targeted towards college students.”), and your goal in applying to Business School (i.e. “Currently seeking admission into the MBA program to enhance business skills for a future as a venture capitalist.”)
2. Career Accomplishments: When competing against countless other candidates with similar backgrounds, the only thing that sets you apart is what you achieved during your professional career. These accomplishments should be showcased in a separate section, directly beneath the Qualifications Summary. They should be quantified with dollar figures, percentages, and time frames, if possible (i.e. “Reduced costs 35%, representing $4000 monthly, by outsourcing all publishing work.”)
3. Professional Experience: Your employment and relevant daily duties, presented in a reverse-chronological order – that is, your most recent employment first, followed by the next most recent, and so on. Accomplishments that have been previously provided should not be repeated here.
4. Education: List only the Bachelor’s degree, not any Associates Degrees leading up to it. Include any academic honors such as scholarships, dean’s lists, honor societies.
5. Length: Business school resumes generally can be two pages in length as long as only relevant data, as it pertains to the application, is included.
Follow these guidelines for resume admission success. They have proven effective for thousands of prospective students and can work for you as well.

Is It Safe To Exercise During Pregnancy?
Many women are nervous about doing anything that may harm their baby, but exercise is recommended for uncomplicated pregnancy women and it is a good idea to get some exercises everyday.
Moderate exercise is helpful because it improves the mother’s mental status and provide health benefits for the baby that include increasing oxygen flow to the fetus and decreasing risk of trauma for both baby and mother during birth. Some studies have shown that exercise can reduce the length of labour, shorten the recovery time, and even help with postpartum weight management.
The types of exercise that pregnant women should do are
• Aerobic exercises such as swimming and walking. These exercises will increase the heart rate and pump oxygen and nutrients throughout the body.
• Kegels exercises (Pelvic floor exercises). These exercises are very important because they decrease risk of tearing of the perineum during birth and help to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, which tend to loosen after labour. All the pregnant women need to do is squeeze their pelvic muscles for a few minutes everyday.
• Flexibility exercise such as yoga that is the good way to improve the flexibility and this type of exercise is very popular in pregnant women. However, not all Yoga exercises are safe for pregnant women. Look for a prenatal Yoga class that is tailored to pregnant moms.
There are recognized contraindications for exercising during pregnant such as incompetence cervix, intrauterine growth retardation, pregnancy induced hypertension, preterm labour (during previous pregnancy), early contractions, vaginal bleeding and premature rupture of the membranes.
What should the pregnant women be careful about?
• Avoid exercising at extreme altitude or in hot, humid environments because it is critical that the pregnant women become overheated.
• Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
• Avoid activities that increase the risk of falls or injury, such as contact sports or vigorous sports.
• Avoid long periods of standing.
• Avoid contact sports and activities that quickly change the center of gravity.
• Wear good exercise shoes to help support the back and ankles.
Before starting any exercise program, the pregnant women should first discuss their plans with their doctor and have regular appointments with their health care provider.
What problems should the pregnant women tell their doctor about?
• Shortness of breath• Severe headache• Dizziness• Dim or blurry vision• Sudden or severe abdominal or vaginal pain• Contractions that go on for 30 minutes.• Chest pain and palpitation.• Blood or fluid coming from the vagina• Muscle weakness• Calf pain or swelling• Decreased movement of the baby
